The recent message we posted of Jan 31st was a spot on message of how people are attempting to make the gospel of Christ about what they want to follow. Too often Pastors are beginning to see people make the gospel in the image of their bias meaning “I feel it is this.” The Apostle Paul wrote to the Galatians for this very reason in an attempt to get them back on track and to not add to the basis of salvation. The world is in an uproar and is not interested in following what a man has to say so therefore they forgo any design of “organized church.” what they don’t see is they now have become the authority for their lives. “I don’t want to hear what that Pastor has to say, I like what this guy or that gal says.” The problem is many have become foolish just as Paul addressed in Gal 3:1 Oh, foolish Galatians! What magician has cast an evil spell on you? For you used to see the meaning of Jesus Christ’s death as clearly as though I had shown you a signboard with a picture of Christ dying on the cross. It is time to get back to the basics of the Gospel and to look to Jesus as the author and finisher of our faith. Its time to set aside the pettiness of peoples feelings that have so ruined the fellowship of Gods people. Its time to focus on the only two things we were asked to do. 1. Love God with everything we have (even our feelings) & 2. Love others just as Christ loved us (yes even their feelings). There is no more time left to sort through the nonsense of people straying from the gospel to another gospel because there is Only One Gospel!
